Showground - Village Green
The showground is surrounded by a tarmaced road edged by a kerb. The ground is mown grass which is reasonably level. The marquee has some plastic and wooden matting at the entrance and around some exhibit areas. There are seats and straw bales available around the arena. There are seats and tables adjacent to the bar area. There is some shade from large trees.
Village Hall
Access to the Village Hall from the road is across a gravel and block frontage. There is a ramp and flat level surface up to the entrance of the village hall into the main hall from the road. Seats and tables are set out on Feast Day for afternoon teas. There are separate male, female and accessible toilets available adjacent to the main door.
Black Horse Inn
Wheelchair access is easiest through the front door from the road. The door is sufficiently wide. Access to other parts of the pub is more difficult due to a variety of steps. There is an accessible toilet and male and female toilets.
Car Parking
Car parking is provided in a field directly adjacent to the showground and is free of charge. Visitors with disability issues may park on the gravel frontage to the Village Hall, taking care to leave access points for others
Admission Charges
The showground arena is free of charge. Admission to the showtent is from 2pm - 5pm, adults £1, children 50p.
The Evening Event in the Marquee starts from 8pm and is free entry, although donations are welcome.
Refreshments
On the showground are a variety of mobile food points, eg hot snacks, ice cream, soft drink stalls. The licensed beer tent sells a variety of soft drinks and alcohol and will be available throughout the afternoon and through to the evening. Afternoon teas are available in the Village Hall from 2.30pm - 5pm. The Black Horse Inn will be open to provide a variety of drinks and food choices. In the evening at the disco there will be a licensed bar and hot snacks available from a mobile food point.
